Because of a supply interruption caused by the volcanic ash from Iceland, Nissan Motor Co. is set to halt creation on three assembly lines at digit factories in Japan on Wednesday. A Nissan spokesman said it has failed to procure expose pressure sensors for wheels imported from Ireland by airplane.
The lines that would be obstructed include one of digit lines at its Oppama plant near Tokyo and both lines at a works in Kyushu, southern Japan. The vehicles that module be strained include the Murano SUV, the Rogue crossover and the Cube. For a one-day stoppage, the consort module be delaying the creation of 2,000 units. Nissan has not yet decided if creation module still be suspended on Thursday and onward. The companies that have declared that their creation and operations won’t be strained by the disruption to expose travel are Toyota Motor Corp., Honda Motor Co. and Mazda Motor Co.
