Agreed! These apps are ineffective in removing all files/folders related to a deleted app. The only effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:
Best way to FULLY DELETE a program (http://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=11171082&postcount=16)
Nice link for deleting apps, worked a treat. Thanks

I typed "crappy mac" into Bing and Apple's store was a sponsored result. :apple:
I clicked it so Apple could pay Microsoft for the click.
That's funnier.

I'd love to have a place for flamewars as well. Some place to vent, call each other names, and just bash everyone and everything you think is dumb, or extremely frustrating.
whats your problem  you know some people dont want to die alround here or have there house burned down :p

Congrats on the well-deserved vacation, I hope you enjoy it.
I was working those kind of hours for a couple of months toward the end of last year. Aggressive software deadlines. I count myself fortunate that I get paid for the overtime. It's much easier to accept working at 8pm on a Sunday night when I know I can charge time and a half for the entire weekend!
Things have settled a bit but I'm finding a comfortable pace of working mostly regular hours during the week, plus coming in on Sunday afternoons for a few OT hours.

Well, I finally got something else different to the 6701s:
Project 6067
TPF: 5min 11s
PPD: 7906
Not bad, especially for just 60W of power.
Rob
nice! so i wonder, is it capable of bigadv units? (not that i'd do that, but knowing that it could)

3)DC Cable
Original:
Color of DC cable is soft white or we say a little grey, and you can feel friction because the cable is not total smooth but rough.
http://forums.macrumors.com/picture.php?albumid=225&pictureid=711
Replacement:
Pure white and smooth, you cant even feel frication. But some factories also use original cables like ours to ensure the quality.
http://forums.macrumors.com/picture.php?albumid=229&pictureid=759
Its not only used in DC cables, also the same way for AC cables and earphone cables.

I wonder why some routers block this kind of connection...Do you know what field should I check to see if there's a way to allow this?
You're thinking about it in the wrong way. The router isn't actually blocking that if it doesn't work, it just doesn't take extra measures to route the traffic that unnatural way.
Why would you need it to behave like that anyway?

Yes you can. Don't argue with me, I have been switching back and forth on Crysis 2 and there is definitely a noticeable difference.
However Games still look good with 1920x1080 on the 27" iMac.
It looks fine at 1920x1080 in games, that's when you would actually use it...

Well I am using it on my iBook (localhost) and it works great. When I tried to connect to the Windows machine at work I got the same error. I hope that they get this figured out. I really like it and would love a functional OS X version.

Reston Town Center Queue, 1 hour ago
Photo + Video
http://obamapacman.com/2010/06/apple-store-reston-iphone-4-line-queue/
I went by the store today to try and find out a rough number of how many non-reserved phones they would have. I couldn't get a number of course, the lady did say that the Reston Town Center security would run people off that were lined up before 5am. Not sure if that will really happen or just what they are told to tell customers.....the official answer.
No, I doubt it.

You didn't backup before upgrading to Lion?
A clean install of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is your only option, as the dozens of other already existing threads can tell you - MRoogle (http://mroogle.edesignuk.com/) might help you there.

I wonder if they are going to start selling junk. As someone who posts there, I notice that there seem to be lots of teens on the site that seems to be the type that like (and can afford) to buy things w/logos on them. Offering "Spymac" branded stuff (at outrageous prices, I'm sure) probably wouldn't be a half bad idea...

Hitachi is ex-IBM, so they have the worst historical reputation.Actually not all of the Hitachi drives are off the old IBM production lines. Hitachi had their own drive business as well. Also, Hitachi has applied their own technology and resources to the forer IBM production lines.
And in truth, IBM had a couple of spectacular failures with one generation of drives that caused most of the IBM failure issues.

Most latch troubles are caused by the user opening the lid and rolling the thumb over the hook before it has a chance to stow - so be careful.

As long as you sign up to be a safari developer (for free), then you are officially a developer to apple and can access the videos. So it is free to watch all of the videos, all you have to do is sign up with the safari development program.

kinda funny, now when I use a pc I expect it to crash, its like I'm waiting on it to, I was at a friends house with windows 98 and he was trying to copy a cd, so he did the usual stuff with nero and called me when it didn't work, after an hour of crashing I finally got it to work, made me want to use my iBook that much more when I got back home. I should have switched much sooner, my blood pressure would have dropped faster lol!

What are the logs for ?
The library folder is big GB
Most applications will have a log which will record errors and other information. It would be worth clearing out to see if you can gain some space :)
