Company A has filed my 485/EAD/AP. I am planning to change company B on AC21 after 180 days. Can I use AP which is filed by company A, for travel purpose after switching to Company B?

Is it from receipt date based on receipt notice OR filing date( actual date when USCIS received your 485 package)?
Its the USCIS receipt date . July 2 flyers started already countung days to use AC 21\\\\\\Also close the thread as some one already discusiing the same issue

Can I count part time experience obtained before my Bachelors degree for an EB2 petition?

I have 2.5 years of part time experience, can we use this and apply with MBA+1 requirements?

Fancy meeting you here, dohko! The experience at half time can be counted to be 1/2 time itself - i.e. 2 years under 20 hrs./week = 1 yr. full time.
Your experience however has to be obtained AFTER your Bachelor's degree.

What happens when a person takes a leave of absence and is out of the country? 140 is approved and I 485 is pending? Technically employed but not getting paid. My cousin is considering this as a possibility and is being overwhelmed with responsibilities in India. He was a July 07 filer, and his pd is Apr 02

What complications can arise? Please advice.

Here is my situation, my PD is March 05 and my 140 is pending for the past 3 months. Do you guys think if I get my 140 approved by Premium processing it would increase my chances of 485 approval this fiscal year? BTW, as its obvious from my PD I will be filing my 485 in July, God willing.

it might be a little bit tricky to find this out. Talk to IO about your 485 and ask her about 140 during the conversation. She might tell you the PD on that. Once, I successfully reconformed my PD by trying this way ( I have approval notice with me though).

I am currently in the US on H1B and want to pursue higher studies. Can someone please let me know the supporting documents that are required for COS.
Do I need my original
1. Transcripts/Marksheets
2. Experience/Relieving Letters
3. Tax Returns
4. Bank Statements for 6 months

I am asking this because i dont have these documents with me right now and I want to apply for a Change of Status immediately. I know that the above are all required to file for a F1 visa

Would appreciate a response.

No one from EB3 category posting their success story of geting a GC recently. What does that mean, VB PD is just foolling us and making you to go crazy.

My cousin got a H1B petition approved (via the lottery system) last year. One consultant in the US had filed his H1B, and my cousin was asked to pay for the entire process, which he did. But, nothing happened last year after that, because the job market turned worse. My cousin did not appear for the visa interview.
Now, when he is trying to get in touch with the consultant, he is not getting any response. What are my cousin's options now?

i am going for the h1b visa stamping first time in chennai. i took the single dd with 4322 ( 4000 + 322 ) rupees . i took the appointment date also for interview .

in the hdfc bank some other people also took the single dd with the same (4322 rupees ) amount.

but some body told that we have to take supporate dds like 4000 and 322 rupees.
what about my situation now? if i took wrong how come hdfc people will give single dd for me and others .

i am really mad. please appriciate your help. i am waiting for your valuable suggestion. please anybody who knows help me.

Hi guys,
my friend's situation is like this

1) EB2 is approved through spouse and I-485 is pending ....priority date for this is March 2005

in the mean time EB1- 140 is approved.


so my question is
1) can i apply another 485 while the 1st 485 is pending... ?

2) should I go ahed and apply for new 485 with EB1 any suggestion's are welcome.

Reposting with new thread.

Applied: April first week - it went in 2010 rush
Received: April last week
RFE: June first week
July first week: RFE response sent
July last week: Approval notice sent
August first week: approval notice received

Documents requested for RFE (also suggested by lawyer):
- Client Letter, role/responsibilities, duties, technologies used, company profile etc.
This letter also clearly stated all entities involved and their relationships with each other.
- Purchase Order and Other contract related stuff (all possible). Everyone co-operated.
- Badge (main bulding, her office), timesheets
- photos (cubicle/office building,company logo etc), login screen, machine etc, client phone directory
- copies of recent pay stub and offer letter, job duties

Thanks to everyone who contribute on this forum. It helped us a lot. This is for my wife.
