OK, hello all!
I made this iMac switcher ad in After Effects, just before the 24" iMac came out. I should probably update it!

I click my bookmark (http://www.spymac.com/gallery) to go and take a quick look around the oh-so-slow Spymac galleries, and look what now welcomes you when you first visit the site, a bloody great sales pitch :mad: :rolleyes: Same thing happens if you go to the front page. It only seems to come up when you first visit, and if you leave, but don't close your browser it will not be there if you go back again. But if you quit your browser then go back you will be greated by it again.
Spymac have now totally gone down the comercial pan.
edit: oh, and btw, we need to arrange to hunt down the dude "modeling" the shirt and wipe that grin off is face ;) :D

I am using this code to embed an MP3 file into a pop-up window (don't worry, I've got controls and the user actually has to click to start the song):

This works fine on IE and Firefox for PC and it works fine on Safari for Mac. The problem is that the song does NOT play on IE or Firefox for Mac! Any suggestions?

That's sweet! How secure are those latches? I'd be worried about it coming open and dumping the MBP, which would make me cry.
I'm also curious with what you've lined the inside to protect the MBP.

Have to agree with everyone here. Bought ram to max out my dual 533, my dual 1.8 and this dual amd x2 here. Customer service is great, shipping is quick. Have yet to RMA anything.

Sorry man I'm not very impressed, it's clean and simple yes, but the darkish coloured text on the blue box doesn't really have alot of contrast, sure you can read it but it certanly doesn't jump out at you. Plus I've never been a big fan of super minimalist design, add some gradiants!
The text colour needs to be adjusted a bit but here's the direction I'd take it.

I don't have a portable console right now but a friend loved and got a lot of play from Monster Hunter...

Just arrived and by best guess there are around 75 people so far. I am sure there is plenty and waiting here is pretty silly but nothing else goin on today so what the hell. Least I have a good chance of getting something I want rather than having to up or downgrade my choice. T-minus 4 hours.

To sue someone, you have to know who they are so you can serve them. What's Apple going to do, sue comex? chpwn? Apple doesn't know who they are. Sony knew who geohot was because he's an attention whore.
His point is that it doesn't matter who is right and who is wrong, or what is or isn't legal. What matters is who can maintain a long strung-out legal battle (Sony) and who can't (the average person).
I expect George hasn't made efforts to hide his identity for two reasons:
1) He's not doing anything illegal, so why should he have to hide
2) "Hiding" is largely futile anyway. I expect the FBI probably already know who comex and chpwn are.
Possibly a 3rd and 4th reason:
3) He likes to take a stand for things that he believes in. That's hard to do if you're anonymous
4) He's an attention whore
