Upcoming 2012 Cars Chevrolet Malibu Preview with Specification and prices

Chevy is at it once again. This time they are redesigning their Malibu by making it roomier and increasing fuel efficiency. You can expect to see the newest Malibu this coming January (2011) at the North American International Auto Show, which is being held in Detroit, Michigan.

Chevrolet Malibu Performance Specifications

For those looking for power, Chevrolet has decided to only put 6-cylinder engines in their Upcoming 2012 Cars Malibu’s. There will not be a 4-cylinder model. With a battery supported electric mechanism for the motor, you can expect almost a 50% increase in fuel mileage over other 3.6 liter V-6’s. You may also hear this called a dual-mode mechanism.

Chevrolet Malibu Price Speculation

Chevrolet is expected to announce a base price of about $22,500 for this car, with about $30,000 being the average selling price with all the options that most people desire.

The 2011 Chevrolet Malibu ranks 5 out of 21 Affordable Midsize Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 72 published reviews and test drives of the Chevrolet Malibu, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.

Though the Chevrolet Malibu is an excellent family car, it competes in a competitive class. By doing some comparison shopping, you may find an even better car that costs less.

“The Malibu has rewritten the segment rules by giving customers a refined, value-packed car that is also drop-dead gorgeous,” said Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager. “With Malibu retail sales up more than 100 percent in the first quarter of ’08, it’s clear that Chevrolet’s commitment to expressive cars is paying off.

Chevrolet Colorado Body Styling

It is believed that the Upcoming 2012 Cars Colorado will have a very similar body style to the 2012 and 2011 models, with the exception of being slightly larger and resembling the contours of some of the other newer vehicles in the Chevy lineup. Previous Colorado models have included options for cab size, manual or automatic transmissions, and power trains, but it is as of yet unknown if these will be available for the new model. One of the very few leaked photos available online shows an extended cab version, so the possibility is there.

Chevrolet Colorado Improvements

Some of the major improvements over the previous models are expected to be the engine, fuel economy, and basic platform; the new Colorado is expected to be a four-cylinder diesel engine with much better fuel economy than previous models, and the vehicle will be built upon the sturdier Isuzu D-Max platform.

2009 Chevrolet Colorado Highlights:
* 5.3L V-8 available on extended and crew cab models
* Improved brake system
* StabiliTrak electronic stability control system is standard on all models
* Fuel system control module for improved fuel economy – up to 25 mpg on the highway with the 2.9L engine
* New ZQ8 sport suspension
* Z71: higher stance, larger wheel/tire combination for improved appearance and off-road maneuverability
* Sixteen-inch steel wheels replace 15-inch steel wheels on Work Truck models

Upcoming 2012 Cars Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 With Prices And Specification

Upcoming 2012 Cars Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 With Prices And Specification

Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Exterior Style

The body style has not changed significantly over the years; mostly just minor cosmetic items.
If it is true that GM plans to phase out the Avalanche, there’s no reason to expect any radical body style changes for the Upcoming 2012 Cars model.

Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Sales

First making its debut in 2001, sales peaked in 2003 at 93,482 sold in North America, and have been in steady decline since, selling only 35,000 in 2008. It would appear that the Avalanche’s unique combination of pick up truck and SUV no longer seems to appeal to enough buyers for GM to justify its continued existence.

Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 Performance and Value

The Upcoming 2012 Cars Chevrolet Avalanche should be available in two different engines: a 5.3 L Vortec V8 with active fuel management that produces 320 hp, and a 6.0 L V8 that peaks out at 366 hp. Active fuel Management simply refers to GM’s technology that permits cylinders to stop consuming fuel under light load, highway conditions. Drivetrains can be rear wheel drive or AWD.

The 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche is loaded with standard safety technologies, including roof-mounted side curtain airbags with rollover protection, front seat belt pretensioners, an electronic stability system with rollover mitigation technology

Chevrolet Impala Release Details

When Chevrolet returned the Impala to its lineup after a brief hiatus in 1999 as a 2000 model, many thought that Chevrolet would continue to emphasis the brand’s flagship sedan. Sadly, the GM bankruptcy seems to have cut those dreams short and the Upcoming 2012 Cars that is expected to hit showrooms in late 2011 will be largely unchanged if industry rumors prove to be accurate. Considering the fact that no Impala show cars have hit the car shows only seems to validate the idea that the current Impala will soldier on a bit longer.

The Chevrolet Impala is a full-sized car produced by Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors. It was one of the best selling vehicles in United States and it is one of the most expensive cars in the world

The standard engine to the model include a 5.7 liter V8 version that delivers 340 hp of power, while it also offered 6.7 liter engine as optional.

Seventh Generation (2000-2005)

The seventh generation Chevrolet Impala was released as a replacement to Lumina and it is designed on the platform of W-body. It was offered in front wheel drive. Two engine choices were offered, V6 and super charged V6. Standard engine to the model was a 3.8 liter super charged V6 version that delivers 240 hp of power.

Eighth Generation (2006-Present)

The present Chevrolet Impala model was introduced at Los Angeles Auto Show in 2005. It shares its basic design with Buick LaCrosse. It is offered in three trim versions, the base model LS, LT and high level LTZ.

Chevrolet Impala Future

Sadly, the 9th generation Impala SS was dropped for the 2012 model year but it is an almost given that the SS badge will return when the vehicle is refreshed in a few years. Competitors in the full-sized American car bracket have all but died out with the death of Ford’s Crown Victoria and Dodge/Chrysler losing the Intrepid and the re-branding of the 300. In short, the true full-sized car market is essentially left only to the Impala at the moment, though there are a few imports that are not quite in the same league in terms of price and size.
