“We are pleased with Camaro’s success in the market during its first year of production,” said Jim Campbell, U.S. Vice President, Chevrolet Marketing. “The 2010 model year has been a banner year for us, and we plan to build on this momentum.”
Additionally customers will be able to order their cars in the optional SEMA-tested colour Synergy Green. Head-Up Display (HUD) also becomes available in the Camaro, the second Chevrolet to get it after the Corvette.
Set to go on sale next year, the redesigned hatchback features aggressive headlights, a bolder grille, and additional chrome accents. Out back, there’s a roof-mounted spoiler, a classier rear bumper, and modern taillights.
Inside, the cabin boasts a massive steering wheel, metallic accents, and an improved center stack. Other goodies include a high-tech instrument cluster (which offers a variety of a setting), 408 liters of cargo capacity, and an eTouch system that monitors fuel consumption and driving habits. On the options list there are massaging front seats, a blind-spot monitoring system, and a panoramic sunroof.
