The smallest BMW currently being offered, the 1-Series, has hit the 1 million mark after having been in creation for five years. The 1-Series, which is offered in quaternary body options, achieved this creation milestone in its prototypal help generation.
BMW created an anniversary help that was sent to its owner on April 12, 2010, at the metropolis Motor Show. The car, a three-door BMW 118d built at the metropolis plant, is offered as a three-door hatch, five-door hatch, coupe and convertible. In fact, the BMW 1-Series is important as it is the only automobile in the payment compact segment that has rear-wheel drive. The automobile is offered with a choice of six petrol and quaternary diesel engines. The power range extends from 115hp in the entry-level 116d to 306hp in the 135i Coupe and Convertible. Maximum efficiency, flexibility, and quality, are the qualities that the BMW’s ultra-modern metropolis Plant have. This facility plays a vital role in the current and forthcoming plans of Germany’s leading payment automobile maker. For now, both the BMW 1-Series and the BMW X1 are being produced in Leipzig. The BMW Plant metropolis is also being prepared for creation of an all-electric creation help currently being developed by the BMW Group.
